The conflict in El Fasher, North Darfur, is driving a devastating humanitarian crisis. Since late October 2025, tens of thousands of people have fled their homes. Reports suggest that over 81,000 people have been displaced just from RSF attacks.

At Agape South Sudan Initiative (ASSI), we have already welcomed 300 families into our branch in Abyei, offering them shelter, basic necessities, and a sense of hope in the midst of trauma. But the need is still immense, and the number of families arriving continues to grow.

These families are calling on us for food, safe water, shelter, medical care, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives far from the violence they escaped. Many arrived with nothing—no belongings, no savings, no certainty about where they would spend the next night.

Now more than ever, they need the compassion and support of those willing to stand with them.
